How to prepare the recipe for pasta with cruschi peppers
- First, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water. We recommend a long format, such as spaghetti or tagliatelle, but choose the one you prefer.
- Then heat a drizzle of oil with the garlic clove in a pan. Then add the roughly chopped pepper with a knife and fry it for a few minutes without letting it burn.
- In a separate pan, heat another round of oil and add the breadcrumbs crumbled by hand. If you like, you can flavor it with dried aromatic herbs such as basil, parsley or oregano and garlic powder.
- Once the pasta is ready, drain it and sauté it in the pan with the fried peppers. Distribute on plates and complete with the crumbs, as if it were grated cheese. If you like, you can also add a grating of cheese and ricotta.
Another typical dish of the area is Lucanian cod with bran peppers , ideal as a second course for an entire menu dedicated to this excellence.
Conservation
It is best to enjoy this dish freshly made to appreciate its different textures. If you have any leftovers, keep the toasted breadcrumbs separately and add them only shortly before serving.
