Pasta with peppers and cream
Pasta with peppers and cream is perfect to prepare for dinner when you're out of ideas but are looking for something easy and tasty.

Take for example the pasta with peppers and cream: the sauce is prepared exactly in the cooking time of the pasta and with its strong flavor it will conquer everyone.
Simply cook the diced pepper in a pan with a drizzle of oil and a clove of garlic and then add the cream to obtain one of the best delicious first courses ever. Furthermore, for a vegan first course , you can easily replace the traditional cream with a plant-based one. Isn't that great?
How to prepare the pasta recipe with peppers and cream
- First, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water for the time indicated on the package. We recommend a short format that captures the sauce well.
- In the meantime, wash the pepper, remove the seeds and internal white filaments and cut it into pieces . Both thin strips and small squares are fine: keep in mind that the smaller they are, the quicker they will cook.
- Place them in the pan with the oil and the garlic clove and let them cook until they are tender. It will take about ten minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
- Place them in a bowl and blend them with an immersion blender , taking care to remove the garlic clove (you can leave a few pieces aside for the final decoration or not)
- Add the cream and mix well, then pour the pepper cream back into the pan, turning the stove on to low heat. If desired, add basil leaves torn into pieces with your hands.
- Once the pasta is ready, drain it and add salt to it in the pan with the sauce. Distribute on plates and complete as desired with some grated cheese and, if you have kept them aside, with the pieces of pepper.

Conservation
The pasta with peppers and cream can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, well covered in cling film. Reheat it in a pan or in the microwave before consuming it.
