Peperonata in the air fryer
Easy to prepare with a little oil, peperonata in the air fryer turns into a light and delicious side dish.

How to prepare the peperonata recipe in the air fryer
- First, wash the peppers under running water and dry them with kitchen paper. Then brush them with a drizzle of oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
- Cook everything at 200°C for 30 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
- Once cooked, transfer the peppers to a freezer bag while they are still hot and seal it airtight. Let them cool before removing the skin and internal seeds along with the white filaments.
- Chop the onion well and place it in a pan suitable for cooking in an air fryer, adding a drizzle of oil and the garlic clove.
- Add the peppers cut into strips and the tomato puree, then cook for about 15 minutes at 180°C . Be careful when cooking, if you see that the contents are drying out too much, lower the temperature or add a little more puree to avoid the risk of the peperonata burning.
- Once ready, add salt to taste, remove the garlic and serve the peperonata as a side dish , hot or at room temperature.
To prepare the peperonata with potatoes, add one or two potatoes previously boiled and cut into wedges. It is also possible to cook the potato wedges in the air fryer together with the peppers and then sauté everything in the pan. This way your side dish will be even tastier.

storage
Peperata cooked in an air fryer can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days . You can enjoy it at room temperature or slightly heated in a pan.
