The potato and salmon salad is delicious, a light and substantial single dish to be enjoyed anywhere.

Salads are always a great idea in summer. Today, we present to you a truly substantial and satiating version, namely potato and salmon salad. It is a light and fresh single dish , which you can serve for lunch or take with you to the beach or to work. The preparation is very simple and takes little time; we start with the potatoes which are simply boiled. Season them and add the good smoked salmon . The softness of the potatoes pairs very well with that of the fish which, in the smoked version, is also very tasty. If your mouth is already watering, let's get to the process!

Preparing the recipe for potato and salmon salad

  1. Start by boiling the potatoes. Immerse them in a pan full of cold water and place on a medium heat.
  2. Bring to the boil and continue cooking for approximately 35 minutes .
  3. Subsequently, drain and peel them; cut the potatoes into fairly large cubes and place them in a bowl.
  4. In another container, mix the mayonnaise with the yogurt sauce.
  5. Add a handful of chopped parsley and also the chopped garlic. Then, mix everything together.
  6. At this point, take the smoked salmon and cut it into strips .
  7. Add the salmon pieces to the bowl of potatoes and stir to combine everything. Then, you can serve it.

How to make salad with potatoes and salmon without mayonnaise

The salad is delicious even without the creamy part. Once the potatoes have been boiled, season them with the juice of 1 lemon and slowly pour in 2 tablespoons of oil . At this point, you can season with salt and add the parsley and chopped garlic and mix. Just add the salmon pieces and the recipe is done!
