Savory rice pancakes are one of the so-called recycling recipes, which will allow you to reuse leftover rice as best as possible and not waste it. But in reality these pancakes are so good that you can even think about preparing them on the spot , boiling the rice and making a delicious dough .

How to prepare the savory rice pancakes recipe

To begin, boil the rice in a pan full of salted water, then once cooked, pour it into a bowl after draining it well. As mentioned, you can also use leftover rice or risotto : they will still be delicious!

Add the grated cheese , egg , flour , salt and pepper to the rice. If you like, you can flavor it with fresh chopped parsley.

In a large pan, heat a drop of peanut oil : when this is boiling, use a spoon to form the pancakes. Turn them over after a couple of minutes, making sure they are well browned and continue cooking on the other side.

Once golden to the right point, pass them on absorbent paper to eliminate excess oil. Serve them piping hot!

Conservation

We recommend consuming these savory pancakes at the moment to appreciate them in all their crunchiness while they are still hot. We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
