Preparation
How to make air fryer spinach meatballs recipe
The first thing to do is wash the spinach. Pour a drizzle of oil into a non-stick pan, add the garlic and transfer everything to the stove. At this point, add the spinach and let it sweat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once tender, season them with a pinch of salt.
Transfer them to a cutting board, remove the garlic and chop them finely with a knife. Then combine them in a bowl together with the grated cheese and the egg .
Take the breadcrumbs and break them into pieces with your hands, then add them. Mix everything to obtain a homogeneous mixture, and gradually add the breadcrumbs .
Take a little dough at a time and form small meatballs , rolling them between your hands. Then pass them in a little flour (this will help to make them crispier) and, as you create them, place them well spaced directly in the basket.
Spray them with a little oil and cook in the air fryer at 180°C for 15 minutes , shaking them halfway through cooking. Serve hot or at room temperature.
If you want, you can also modify the recipe and make the meatballs more delicate , adding a little ricotta, or tastier by placing a cube of scamorza in the center. In short, these meatballs are quite versatile in making, just be careful that they are malleable and easy to make by adjusting the consistency with the breadcrumbs.
