Stuffed fritters in the air fryer
Stuffed friggitelli in the air fryer are a second course of vegetables with a summer flavour.
Preparing stuffed friggitelli in an air fryer is very simple. This product is a very tasty type of vegetable which lends itself to a variety of preparations and, although they are very good plain, enriched with a simple filling they become very tasty. This time, we choose to fill them in a simple and light way : with ricotta, dried tomatoes and tuna in oil, but you can choose the flavors you like best.
This is a very popular summer recipe, which becomes even simpler if prepared in an air fryer, because in this way they cook in less time and without the smell of fried food invading the house.
Preparing the recipe for stuffed friggitelli in the air fryer
- Before starting, wash the friggitelli peppers carefully under running water.
- Cut the top cap and, without opening each pepper too much, empty the inside, eliminating the seeds and filaments.
- At this point, pour all the ricotta into a bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper and stir to soften it a bit.
- Add the dried tomatoes cut into pieces and, if you prefer, a little tuna.
- Stir again to combine everything.
- Subsequently, take a little filling at a time and fill each fryer.
- As they are ready, place them in the air fryer basket, spaced apart.
- Cook at 180°C for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
- Once finished, they are ready to be served.

Stuffed friggitelli, cooked in an air fryer, are even better with this delicate and bold filling with ricotta and dried tomatoes. You can store them in the fridge for 1-2 days , in an airtight container.
