Preparing the recipe for sweet and sour pumpkin in the air fryer

  1. To begin with, you need to clean the pumpkin. Then, cut it in half.
  2. Clean the entire inside of the seeds and filaments, then remove the peel from the pulp.
  3. At this point, cut the pulp into slices and then, if you prefer, into smaller pieces.
  4. Place the pumpkin pulp in a bowl and season it with a little salt and pepper.
  5. Add the chopped or powdered garlic, the rosemary and also a drizzle of olive oil.
  6. Once done, transfer everything to the air fryer basket to move on to cooking.
  7. You can cook the pumpkin at 175°C for 25 minutes .
  8. Towards the end of cooking, pour the granulated sugar into a large bowl and add the oil.
  9. Also add the vinegar, water and sprigs of fresh rosemary.
  10. Season with pepper and mix everything together, before leaving the mixture to rest for several minutes.
  11. When the pumpkin is ready, transfer it to a serving container to cool.
  12. Subsequently, you can season it with the prepared sugar-based mixture; so, serve it.
