Preparation of pumpkin and cinnamon donuts

  1. First of all, cut the pumpkin into pieces, then place it in the blender jug , add the water and the egg and blend to obtain a smooth puree.
  2. Pour the puree thus obtained into a large bowl and also add the sunflower seed oil and honey.
  3. Continue adding the well-sifted flour, cinnamon and yeast, mix well to mix everything together , then pour the dough into oiled donut molds and fill them 3/4 full as the dough will tend to swell during cooking. .
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes .
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool completely before removing the cakes from the molds.
  6. In the meantime, dedicate yourself to preparing the cream for the filling: pour the mascarpone and icing sugar into the bowl of the mixer and mix with the whisk to obtain a cream.
  7. Separately, whip the dessert cream then add it to the mascarpone and sugar cream. Mix gently, use the frosting thus obtained to fill the donuts in pairs to form small pumpkins and decorate with colored sugar paste.
