Preparation of stuffed tomatoes with rice in an air fryer
- In a bowl, combine the ready-made rice with the diced cooked ham, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and any aromatic herbs you like.
- Mix everything carefully and season with salt and pepper.
- In the meantime , remove the tops from the tomatoes and carefully dig out the inside, removing the seeds and water, but without removing the pulp excessively.
- Salt the inside of the tomatoes and fill carefully with the rice mixed with the other ingredients. At this point sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese to form the crust during cooking.
- Now cook the tomatoes for about ten minutes at 180°C . To obtain a gratin effect on the surface, you can increase the temperature to 200°C for five minutes.
- Once the stuffed tomatoes are ready, you can serve them immediately , or let them cool and enjoy them warm.

If you want to enjoy any leftover stuffed tomatoes, you can place them inside a plastic or glass container with an airtight lid and store them in the refrigerator for up to three days .
