Turnip greens omelette in air fryer
We prepare a tasty turnip top omelette in the air fryer, a light second course made with simple products.
Turnip greens are the perfect ingredient to create an omelette with a simple but tasty flavour. Preparing the turnip greens omelette in the air fryer is very simple and requires only a few ingredients. The starting point is that of a common omelette, to be prepared with lots of eggs , grated cheese and flavored with a little salt and oil. The ingredient that will make your dish special are turnip greens ; it is a good and healthy vegetable, especially linked to the Apulian gastronomic tradition, but which makes many dishes delicious. This ingredient will make the inside of your lightly cooked omelette even softer.
Preparing the recipe for turnip greens omelette in the air fryer
- To begin with, wash and clean the turnip greens, keeping only the florets.
- Place them in a pan full of water and let them boil for about 10/15 minutes .
- Once finished, drain and cool.
- In a bowl, shell the eggs and add the grated cheese.
- Season with a little salt and pepper and mix with a fork .
- Add the turnip greens and mix vigorously, to mix the vegetables with the rest of the mixture.
- Take a baking tray with dimensions that fit your air fryer; grease the inside with a little olive oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Then, pour the mixture into the mold. Cook at 180°C for 20-25 minutes . Once finished, let it cool and serve.

The turnip greens omelette in the air fryer is light and tasty, good for adults and children who can eat the vegetables in an inviting way. You can keep it for 2-3 days in the fridge , closed in an airtight container.
