The question that everyone asks about this succulent fruit is one: does watermelon make you fat ? Certainly, as soon as you have finished eating a large slice of watermelon, your belly seems full as if you had swallowed a chicken. This, however, does not mean that a diet has been made a mistake.

The fruit, in fact, does not make you fat and is considered low- calorie . It is made up of 90% water, which makes it highly moisturizing. At the same time, however, it is rich in mineral salts, including magnesium, potassium and phosphorus, but also calcium, copper and vitamins, especially A, B and C. Last but not least, watermelon also contains lycopene, which is a molecule with action antioxidant and protective.

Can we say, therefore, that watermelon makes you lose weight? If you don't overdo the doses and follow a healthy diet, the answer is undoubtedly yes. The fruit, in fact, helps to eliminate excess fluids and counteracts cellulite.
