The popularity of the recipe is such that it has earned its own name: in the USA these sweets with a more delicate flavor are known as blondes. Preparing white chocolate brownies

  1. Cut 150 g of white chocolate into squares and melt it in a saucepan over a low heat. When everything is melted, let it cool slightly and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl , cream the butter with the sugar and when the result is foamy and well blended, add the eggs preferably one at a time to give the ingredients time to incorporate as best as possible.
  3. Follow the same gradual procedure when adding the carefully sifted flour , mixing well so that no lumps form.
  4. Pour the melted white chocolate , the baking powder and the remaining white chocolate cut into pieces.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured 20×15 cm rectangular pan and cook for half an hour at 180° C.
  6. Once cooking is finished, let it cool completely and cut the classic rectangles before serving with a dusting of icing sugar if necessary.

If you have some white chocolate brownies left over, you can easily store them by placing them in a closed container and consuming them within 3 or 4 days .

Ideas and variations

To make the recipe even tastier , you can add a touch of crunch by adding lightly salted almonds and pistachios, which go very well with the sweetness of white chocolate. If, however, you want to make the dessert fresher, especially in the spring and summer months, you can add fresh blueberries or raspberries.
