White grape jam

How to prepare the white grape jam recipe

  1. The first step, as is easy to imagine, concerns cleaning the grapes . If you use a traditional variety, you will have to wash them one by one, cut them in half and remove the seeds. On the contrary, if you use seedless grapes, you can skip this step and save a lot of time. In all cases, cut the grapes in half.
  2. Place the grapes in a pan, sprinkle them with lemon juice and add the sugar .
  3. Transfer the fruit to the heat and to thicken the grape jam, add the apple cut into pieces and start cooking, stirring occasionally. Be patient, you may even need 1-2 hours to make this jam.
  4. After about 1 hour / 1 hour and a half, blend part of the grapes (or even all of them) with an immersion blender, then continue cooking for about another 40 minutes and conclude with the saucer test .
  5. Pour it while still boiling into sterilized jars and close with a new cap.
  6. Finally, turn them over and wait until they are completely cold before placing them in the pantry.
