Well, know that today, thanks to the recipe for this light cake with only 60 calories per portion , you can treat yourself to a small exception to the rule to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Light in every sense, this cake is inspired by the best-known Japanese c otton cheesecake but does not use white chocolate. However, there are only a few ingredients needed to prepare this quick and easy dessert and we are sure that you will love it!

How to prepare the light cake recipe

The preparation of this quick and easy dessert is similar to the most popular breakfast cakes: let's see it together!

  1. Start by dividing the egg whites from the yolks.
  2. Mix the latter with the spreadable cheese then add the milk little by little, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the corn starch and rice starch, well sifted, and work the mixture so that there are no lumps.
  4. Separately, whip the egg whites until stiff, add the stevia and lemon juice and continue to mix them until they look like meringue.
  5. Scented with vanilla bean seeds.
  6. Incorporate them into the previous mixture, mixing from bottom to top so as to prevent them from falling apart.
  7. Pour it into a 16cm diameter baking tray lined with baking paper and cook at 170°C for an hour in a bain-marie .
  8. Before taking it out of the oven, do the toothpick test and if you notice that the surface tends to brown too much during cooking, cover it with a sheet of foil.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the dessert cool completely before serving.
