Nutella roll

The Nutella roll is a quick dessert to make and perfect for many occasions, from breakfast to a snack to birthdays.

Today we are preparing a great classic of homemade desserts, the Nutella roll, a delicious loaf filled with hazelnut spread, soft and suitable for any occasion. With this plate you will bring taste and even imagination to your table, thanks to its pleasant and inviting shape and appearance.

At the base there is a sort of biscuit dough, prepared only with eggs, sugar and flour . For the filling, in addition to Nutella, you can use other spreads, cream and fruit or jams but don't worry, we will give you all the ideas below. What are we waiting for? How to prepare the Nutella sweet roll recipe

First prepare the biscuit dough . Break the eggs into a large bowl, add the vanilla sachet and beat with an electric whisk until whipped. Once tripled in volume, add the sugar , whisking constantly.

When the mixture has taken consistency, turn off the electric whisk and add the sifted flour , incorporating it with a spatula using circular movements from bottom to top.

At this point, take a 30Ă—40 cm baking tray lined with baking paper and pour the dough over it, trying to level it.

Cook at 200°C for 10 minutes . Once ready, immediately remove the dough from the pan and turn it upside down onto another sheet of baking paper. Gently remove the baking paper at the base. Cover the biscuit dough with the freshly removed sheet and let it cool .

When it has cooled, pour the Nutella over the entire surface and, using the sheet of baking paper at the base, roll the dough on itself.

Decorate it with a sprinkling of icing sugar and serve by cutting it into slices, creating delicious Nutella swirls.

As mentioned, you can make the Nutella roll dough with the Thermomix . The process is equally simple and immediate.

Starting from the biscuit dough base you can create a different roll from time to time. Among our favorites are the onewith custard , with cream and strawberries and with jam .

Conservation

The hazelnut cream roll will keep out of the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
