Gluten-free apple pie
Here is the recipe for making a classic breakfast dessert in a gluten-free version: apple pie.
Today we are going to prepare a gluten free version of the apple pie recipe, the dessert par excellence, easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion. Our gluten-free apple pie is prepared with a mixture of rice flour and potato starch which allows us to keep it just right.
For the rest the ingredients are always the same: eggs, sugar, milk (even vegetable milk in case of intolerance) and oil. We flavored it with lemon but feel free to replace it with cinnamon or vanilla.

Preparation
Gluten-free apple pie
Start by breaking the eggs into a bowl. Add the sugar and whip with an electric whisk until light and fluffy.
Pour in the oil and the milk which we said can be vegetable then flavor the mixture with the grated lemon zest.
Add the sifted rice flour together with the starch and yeast and mix everything well.
Finally, peel the apples , remove the core and, after having cut them into cubes or slices, incorporate them into the mixture.
Transfer everything into a 20-22 cm diameter springform pan lined with baking paper and cook at 180°C for 45 minutes . Also in this case the toothpick test will tell you if the dessert is cooked.
Once cold, remove it from the mold and serve, decorating with a sprinkling of icing sugar .
We also leave you a short video with all the steps to make it. Easy right?
And if you have a Thermomix, here's how to prepare the cake using your robot to the fullest.
Conservation
Store the cake in a cool place for a couple of days at most, then place it in the fridge to prevent the fruit from spoiling.
