Preparing the recipe for couscous with tuna and chickpeas
- First, take a saucepan and pour the oil on the bottom.
- Place on the stove over a moderate heat and, when hot, add the couscous.
- Then, toast lightly.
- In the meantime, heat the water in another saucepan, after adding a little salt.
- When the water is ready, pour it over the couscous until it is completely covered.
- Turn off the heat and let it rest for about 10 minutes , covered with a lid; in this time, the couscous will absorb the water.
- In the meantime, prepare the sauce. In a large bowl, pour the tuna.
- Chop the rocket (after having cleaned it well), peel and chop the onion, grate the carrot after peeling it.
- Add all these vegetables to the tuna, including the well-drained chickpeas.
- Mix everything and season with salt and pepper.
- In a serving bowl, transfer the couscous, fluffing it . Add the seasoning and mix.
- Finish with a drizzle of raw oil and, if it has not yet cooled, let the couscous cool. When finished, you can serve it!
