Gucci Vault becomes “real” and launches its first collection with Palace

Fashion metaverse

Among the first customized online realities, Gucci Vault expands its virtual universe also into the real world with its first collection.

Metaverse, virtual universe, online store, whatever the virtual space created and managed by the brands is called or meant, the direction is only one: to make virtual and reality dialogue to retain already established customers, enchant, amaze and capture even that potential. After being the first brand to inaugurate a space where its archival garments and accessories could be rediscovered and revisited by young and emerging designers, Gucci is ready to be the first to transform its artistic metaverse into reality, inaugurating the first collection Gucci Vault with the streetwear brand Palace .

Gucci Vault and Palace: the first collection together and the first “physical” of the Vault universe

Gucci Vault, was born in 2021 as a brilliant concept store wanted by the creative director Alessandro Michele on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the brand, dedicated in particular to vintage lovers. At the base of this idea, however, there is evolution, a constantly changing fashion, a liquid reality capable of giving the past a new vision, precisely circular. These diktats are in perfect line with Vault's latest project: transmigrating from the virtual to the real and vice versa, a circle that is realized and expands with the streetwear brand Palace .

The collection was officially launched and put on sale officially on Vault and in some temporary stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka and Bangkok, as well as in some flagship stores of Palace, in London, New York and Tokyo, in addition to initiatives Pop-Up, Pop-In and takeover. Gucci does not set limits on expression, so it meets the underground taste of the brand and tells it in its own way in the wake of a sporty dress code with a refined and designer appeal.

Gucci x Palace: not just clothing in the game of overlapping

As happened in the meeting with Adidas, Gucci appropriates and makes the Palace language its own by playing with overlaps: thus the iconic Horsebit moccasin is embellished with the Palace P pendant on the Gucci monogram, the leather outerwear mix the Gucci logo with the linked writing of Palance, football t-shirts , tracksuits and denim is studded with the Gucci monogram, but it is not only the clothing that is the subject of this captivating remix, confirming that in the world of Vault everything is possible.

It also goes far beyond the accessory to wear: among the jewels of this collection, the Moto Guzzi "V7" motorcycle made in a limited edition of 50 pieces, a Palace Gucci safe, produced by the Conforti company, in a limited edition of 10 specimens worldwide. A community that of Vault that exceeds the imagination and that has openly declared with this collab that it is only the beginning of what we can expect.
