Preparing the recipe for lemon biscuits in the air fryer
- To begin, pour all the granulated sugar into a large bowl; then, also add the grated lemon peel.
- Also pour in the olive oil and lemon juice. Finally, add the egg and a pinch of salt and mix to combine the ingredients.
- Sift the flour and add it to the rest of the dough.
- Do the same with the yeast and knead with your hands, vigorously, until you obtain a firm but soft dough.
- At this point, pour the icing sugar into a bowl with low sides.
- Take a little dough at a time ( about 30 g ) and shape it to form a ball . Roll each one in icing sugar, covering it completely.
- Gradually place the biscuits in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer at 190°C for 8 minutes ; then, switch to 170°C for 8-9 minutes .
- Once finished, remove from the oven and let your biscuits cool.
