Sweet and crumbly biscuits: here’s how to prepare vegan cat tongues without eggs, but at the same time fragrant and greedy.
Today we offer you the recipe to prepare vegan cat tongues, delicious and very thin biscuits characterized by an elongated and narrow shape. These sweets differ from the classic preparation with egg whites and butter even if the dough is free of ingredients of animal origin but with soy milk. You can use cat tongues to enrich other desserts, or you can accompany them with tea or other drinks.
Preparing the recipe for vegan cat tongues
- Put the two flours in a large bowl, mix well then add the sugar, cream and apple juice.
- Mix well in order to obtain a homogeneous but liquid batter.
- Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and pour the mixture into a pastry bag.
- Transfer the batter into a pastry bag and form the tongues directly on the pan .
- Bake in a convection oven preheated to 180 ° C and cook for 10/11 minutes , taking care not to over-brown your biscuits.
The cat’s tongues just removed from the oven are very soft and can be shaped as desired to obtain a particular and effective decoration.
