Thai spiced chicken: so good!
A fantastic oriental-inspired recipe: here is the Thai spiced chicken.
If you crave flavors that are different from the classics, try Thai chicken and you certainly won't be disappointed, because this recipe combines the strong flavors of pepper, curry and onions with the delicate flavors of coconut milk .
Don't be afraid to be daring, because it is a very well-loved and well-known recipe all over the world, even if it lends itself to thousands of variations. Among other things, with its creaminess and its colours, this spiced chicken presents itself in a very scenographic and inviting way.
You can find tamarind paste in ethnic food stores, but if you don't find it, don't worry : this recipe will still be good, and if you follow all the steps, it will also be very easy!
How to make chicken thai
- Heat about 100 ml of coconut milk in a saucepan, adding paprika and curry. Leave to thicken on the heat for about a couple of minutes, then add the remaining coconut milk, the very finely chopped onion and the parsley leaves, and bring to the boil.
- Cut the chicken breast into chunks, like a stew , and add this too to the pot, adding a little salt. At this point add the red pepper, cut into strips, the tamarind paste and finally the teaspoon of sugar.
- Let the chicken get to fully cooked together with the other ingredients, and mix from time to time.
- Serve your spicy Thai chicken piping hot, optionally accompanied with basmati rice and a sprinkling of fresh parsley.
