Here's how to prepare cauliflower nuggets in the air fryer, delicious breaded morsels.
To eat vegetables in a delicious way there are many tricks. One of these is preparing delicious recipes such as, for example, cauliflower nuggets in the air fryer. These are small morsels, with a very soft filling and a crunchy shell. The vegetables should first be dipped in a simple batter, to be enriched with various flavours. This vegetable filling is hidden by a shell of crunchy breadcrumbs , made with breadcrumbs. Furthermore, cooking in an air fryer makes these morsels very light, because they cook with very little oil. They are as good as if they were fried, but much tastier and lighter.
Preparing the recipe for cauliflower nuggets in the air fryer
- The first thing to do is wash the cauliflower and remove the stems and hardest parts.
- Dry carefully and cut the vegetable florets into pieces of equal size .
- In a bowl, pour the flour.
- Add your favorite spices, such as paprika and rosemary in our case; then season with salt.
- Pour in the cold water and start mixing to obtain a smooth and dense batter.
- Once done, you can move on to the breading; first, place a sheet of baking paper (better if perforated) on the air fryer basket.
- Start by dipping the cauliflower florets into the batter; then, pass it in the breadcrumbs, making it stick well.
- As you create the nuggets, place them in the basket.
- Spray a little oil spray on it, then move on to cooking.
- Cook at 200°C for about 10-15 minutes , but remember to turn them on the other side halfway through cooking.
- When they are golden brown, they are ready and you can serve them.

Air fryer cauliflower nuggets are a delicious second course, alternatively you can also present them as a starter for an important lunch or an aperitif. You can store them in the fridge for a maximum of 2 days , closed in an airtight container.
