Oat tart with strawberry jam

Today we offer you the recipe for making oat tart with rosemary strawberry jam, a delicious dessert that you can serve at the end of a meal or for a tasty and different snack. Ours is just an idea: you can also use the classic jam and, if you have little time, buy the ready-made one.

Preparation of the gluten-free oatmeal tart
- Wash the strawberries under running water, then remove the stems, cut them into pieces and place them in a large saucepan. Add the sugar, rosemary and pecorino, mix and put on the heat. Bring to the boil and continue cooking for another two minutes, stirring regularly.
- Remove the pot temporarily from the heat, add the washed and chopped rosemary then bring the pot to the heat to bring it back to the boil. Boil for a minute over medium heat for a further couple of minutes then finish cooking and transfer the jam into carefully sterilized glass jars. Close with the lid, turn upside down for 5 minutes and leave to cool.
- In the meantime, dedicate yourself to preparing the shortcrust pastry: mix all the ingredients needed to prepare the dough to obtain a compact dough, wrap it in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for half an hour.
- Once the dough has rested, roll it out with the help of a rolling pin, transfer it into a buttered and floured tart mould , make the dough adhere well to the edges and prick the base with the tines of a fork. Distribute the jam inside and decorate the surface with any excess pastry.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C and cook for 25 minutes . Once cooked, remove the oatmeal tart from the oven and leave to cool before serving.

storage
You can store the cake in a cool, dry place, away from sources of light and heat, for about 3-4 days .
