Preparation of the vegan mug cake in the microwave
- The process for preparing this delicious vegan mug cake is really very simple. First, you need a cup from the ones you already have at home. The first ingredients to insert inside are the powders and the rest of the dry elements.
- Mix everything together using a simple fork;
- At this point, the liquid ingredients must be added, i.e. vegetable milk, oil and, if desired, vanilla extract.
- Mix everything well and add the dark chocolate in small flakes to the mixture.
- Place the cup in the microwave and cook for about a minute , no more, at maximum power. This allows you to leave the heart of the vegan mug cake soft and creamy. If, however, you prefer a drier consistency, let it cook for another 30 seconds .
The cake in the cup should be enjoyed immediately and piping hot. You can accompany it, in summer, with a good vanilla ice cream which will enhance the taste. In winter, however, it will be delicious to eat warm and dark , just like the classic dessert recipe .
The variations of the quick dessert in the cup
For celiacs , it is possible to prepare a tasty variant of the vegan gluten-free cup cake. Just replace the 00 flour with wholemeal or rice flour.
To give a touch of fresh fruit , however, you can prepare the vegan mug cake with apples and cinnamon. In the mixture, mix 1 or 2 tablespoons of apple cubes (instead of chocolate) and a quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon.
The cake can also be stored outside the fridge, well covered, for up to 2 days .
