  1. Remove the woody part and damaged tips of the asparagus, wash them under running water and boil them for a few minutes in a pan of water.
  2. Then drain them and cut the stems into rounds, while the tips should be left whole and placed in a separate bowl.

  8. When the risotto is ready, turn off the heat and stir in the remaining butter and cheese, season with salt and add a little pepper to taste.
