Preparation of baked celeriac sticks

1. Wash and clean the surface of the celeriac well, removing the peel and any lumps.
2. On a cutting board, using a knife, cut the celeriac into regular sticks, approximately one centimeter wide and 3-4 centimeters long.
3. Transfer the cut vegetables into a large bowl and add all the spices. Paprika, cumin seeds, the chosen aromatic herbs, and if you like garlic too.
4. Pour a drizzle of oil over the vegetables and mix everything with the help of a spoon until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
5. Line a baking tray or baking tray with a sheet of baking paper and arrange your seasoned vegetables. Make sure that the sticks do not overlap, for optimal cooking.
6. Insert the tray halfway into your oven and cook in fan mode at 190° C for about 15 minutes , or in any case until the surface of the celeriac is golden brown and crunchy.
6. Finally, serve them hot or warm, with a pinch of salt.

Baked celeriac sticks are excellent freshly made , but if you want to preserve them you can store them in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge . To eat them as if freshly baked, preheat the oven to 180°, and brown them for 3-5 minutes before consuming them.
