Here's how to prepare good battered vegetables in the air fryer, quickly and easily.

Making battered vegetables in an air fryer is very simple. The recipe is quick and fun, and it is also a good preparation for making vegetables delicious and tasty. For this recipe you can use the ones you prefer, but the best ones are the fuller ones: carrots, courgettes and peppers are very suitable.

To make vegetables tasty, you need to prepare a simple batter : made with water, flour, eggs and a little salt. Cover the vegetables and then start cooking: in a few minutes they will be delicious and crunchy!

Preparing the recipe for battered vegetables in the air fryer

  1. To begin, prepare the batter. Pour the flour into a large bowl and add the sparkling water.
  2. Mix and, in the meantime, also incorporate the egg.
  3. Add a pinch of salt, continuing to mix.
  4. Once ready, cover the bowl with cling film and let the mixture rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Next, fill a saucepan with water and place it on the heat to boil the broccoli inside.
  6. After 6 minutes of cooking, they are ready and you can drain them and let them cool.
  7. In the meantime, wash and cut the other vegetables into strips: courgettes, peppers and carrots.
  8. Once ready, remove the batter from the fridge and cover the air fryer basket with baking paper.
  9. Dip the vegetables, one at a time, into the smooth batter and immediately transfer them to the basket.
  10. When everything is ready, cook at 180°C for 13 minutes ; at this point, turn the vegetables and cook for another 2 minutes.
  11. When they are evenly browned, you can turn off the heat.

storage

Air fryer battered vegetables are an excellent recipe to serve as an aperitif or as a starter in a long meal. Preservation is not recommended , because after a short time they begin to lose their crunchiness.
