How to prepare ragu recipe in air fryer

  1. First, heat the pan of the air fryer (or a compatible one) when empty for 3 minutes at 180°C .
  2. Then take it out and while it's still hot add the oil and the minced meat to give it a sort of browning. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes at 180°C . Mix and repeat the step.
  3. At this point add the tomato sauce , cover the pan with aluminum foil and start cooking at 200°C for 45 minutes . It is very important that you stir the ragù every 10 minutes or so to prevent it from sticking.
  4. Then use it to season pasta or prepare delicious lasagna in an air fryer.

Clearly this version of air fryer gravy deviates from what is the original Bolognese sauce recipe. However, it represents a valid alternative for those who have little time and little familiarity in the kitchen.

The sauce in the air fryer can be kept in the refrigerator, well covered, for 2-3 days . It is also possible to freeze it, already portioned, for up to 3 months.
