Bean Burgers are a protein-rich second dish made with vegetables and legumes. Preparing them will be really easy, let’s find out how!
The bean burger recipe is a vegetarian alternative to the classic meat burgers. In addition to being very simple to make, the vegetarian bean burger will not only drive your guests crazy but will also entice the little ones to devour vegetables and legumes in this capacity. To dress them up even more effectively, stuff the classic sandwich with your hamburger, salad, tomatoes and sauces at will!
These burgers are also perfect for an outdoor picnic: you can prepare them first and then enjoy them cold , the taste will not betray you. We also offer you a delicious vegan variant that does not include animal derivatives in the preparation.

Variants and recommendations for bean burgers
If you like, add a clove of garlic, an onion and a finely chopped carrot to your preparation: you will get a stronger flavor. Spices are optional. We have decided to use borlotti beans for their intense flavor, but it is possible to replace them with cannellini, black or Spanish beans.
You can decide to cook your burgers also in the oven or on the plate. Served with baked potatoes they will be a pleasure; the little ones will love the french fries without a doubt.
Alternatively, the vegan egg-free bean burger recipe will make your dinner even much lighter! To avoid the risk of not being able to obtain a compact dough in the absence of eggs, you can replace the herbs with two tablespoons of pesto.
Keep the burgers in the fridge for two days or freeze them if you want to consume them after some time.
To stay light, try the burgers with chickpea omelette with vegetables !
