All you have to do is get a plastic bottle of at least two liters , preferably some water which is usually thinner, put all the ingredients inside, shake and pour . The result is one of those quick chocolate cakes that you will hardly be able to forget. Moist and soft, it is prepared without butter and is perfect for breakfast and snacks.

How to prepare the chocolate bottle cake recipe

  1. As mentioned above, the preparation is rather immediate and, in addition to not requiring particular skills, it will allow you not to dirty anything in the kitchen. Get a two-liter plastic bottle and place a funnel on top.
  2. Pour in the eggs , sugar and vanilla , close and shake for a few moments.
  3. Then replace the funnel and pour in the oil and milk . Close and shake again for a few seconds.
  4. At this point, still using the funnel, add the appropriately sifted flour , cocoa and yeast .
  5. Close with the cap and shake vigorously for a minute. You should obtain a thick and creamy mixture, free of lumps.
  6. Line a 22cm diameter baking tray with baking paper and pour in the mixture, making it drop as much as possible.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes then do the toothpick test before taking out of the oven. It must come out completely dry, otherwise continue cooking for another 5 minutes and repeat the test.
  8. Serve the cake, removing it from the mold once it has completely cooled, finishing with a sprinkling of icing sugar if desired.

This cake can also be kept for 2-3 days outside the fridge , in a cool, dry place and under a special glass bell jar for cakes. Be careful not to bring it near heat sources, otherwise it could last much less. We do not recommend freezing.
