Here is the recipe for chia pudding with coconut milk enriched with almonds and fruit, for a healthy and nutritious snack.
Generally, pudding, a sweet of English origin, is prepared with rice and milk, but there are many variations, all also suitable for those who want to try this pudding in a vegetable version . For example, we want to prepare chia pudding with coconut milk enriched with fruit and sliced almonds. Chia seeds for breakfast are perfect for starting with energy and reaching the lunch break without feeling the pangs of hunger, which is why our preparation is a must try.
Chia seeds are a very useful food for the well-being of our body : they are rich in Omega 6, Omega 3, essential amino acids, antioxidants and minerals. The main feature of these seeds is their gelling power which allows them to absorb liquids and produce a gelatinous substance that gives the pudding a pudding consistency.
To obtain a perfect chia seed pudding or pudding, we recommend leaving the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours . Here is the recipe!
Preparation of the chia pudding and coconut milk
- Start by placing the coconut milk, chia seeds and maple syrup in a bowl. Mix well then distribute the mixture in single portion cups.
- Place the cups in the refrigerator and let them rest for 6-8 hours .
- After the rest time in the refrigerator, take the cups back and decorate with fresh fruit and sliced almonds.
We do not recommend storing it too long: chia pudding is made to be enjoyed immediately after preparation, or at the latest after a night in the refrigerator to firm up properly!
