Preparation of the pistachio cream liqueur recipe

  1. Put milk, cream, sugar and pistachio cream in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring.
  2. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat and leave to cool completely for about 2 hours.
  3. When it is cold, add the alcohol and mix.
  4. Transfer the liqueur into a glass bottle and let it rest in the fridge for 48 hours .
  5. Take out of the fridge a few minutes before serving.

You can replace the pistachio cream with pistachio flour : in this case, shake the bottle before consuming the homemade pistachio liqueur. With the same procedure, you can also make walnut, hazelnut or almond liqueur.

Variant of pistachio liqueur without cream

Try the version of this liqueur without cream and starting with pistachios: put 50 g of shelled pistachios in boiling water to quickly remove the skin, then chop them finely with a mixer. Transfer them to a bottle with 150 g of 90 ° alcohol and leave to rest for 10 days in a cool and dry place. After the time has elapsed, dissolve 150 g of sugar in 350 g of water or milk; one minute after it boils, pour everything into the bottle with alcohol and pistachios. Shake vigorously and let it rest for a few days, then filter everything in a colander and transfer it to a bottle . Always keep the pistachio liqueur in the fridge before serving.


Store in the refrigerator for up to one month .
