How to prepare the courgette flower omelette recipe

  1. To prepare a good omelette we recommend using fresh organic eggs . Beat them in a bowl adding a drop of milk to taste (you can also omit this ingredient, it serves to make the omelette more swollen and soft), a pinch of salt , a grind of pepper and the grated cheese.
  2. Separately, clean the flowers by removing the stems and pistils, then cut them into strips.
  3. Heat a large non-stick pan and oil it abundantly.
  4. Heat the oil, then add the outsides and let them go for 1-2 minutes .
  5. Add the egg mixture over the flowers and level everything well with a kitchen spoon.
  6. Cover with the lid and cook over medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes or in any case until the top of the omelette has begun to thicken.
  7. With the help of a plate or the lid itself , turn it over . If you have good dexterity you can also proceed "jumping".
  8. Finish cooking for another couple of minutes and then serve.
