  1. To prepare the breaded and fried asparagus, start by thoroughly rinsing the asparagus, remove the hardest part of the stem and steam them for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Once the time has passed, put them to cool and then pass them one by one in the flour, in the eggs beaten with a pinch of salt and finally in the breadcrumbs enriched, to taste, with a few tablespoons of grated cheese.
  3. Place a large pan on the stove, heat the oil and fry until golden brown . Serve the asparagus hot, enjoy your meal.

If you want to prepare the recipe for fried asparagus in a pan with batter, all you have to do is work the asparagus in the same way indicated in the basic recipe. Once the vegetables are cooked and cold, you can prepare the batter: mix 150 ml of cold sparkling water with 200 g of 00 flour and 1 egg. Stir quickly with a whisk and then let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. At this point, heat the oil, dip the asparagus into the very cold batter and fry them!

The result will be extremely crunchy and greedy, moreover you can also decide to replace a little water with lager beer to have a different and more decisive nuance of flavor.


We advise you to keep the asparagus warm but to consume them shortly after having prepared them in order to enjoy them at their best. We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
