How to cook peppers in a pan

  1. First of all, wash the peppers under cold running water.
  2. Once done, cut them in half and remove the internal white parts and all the seeds, finally cut them into thin strips and leave them aside.
  3. In a pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil (two tablespoons) with a clove of unpeeled garlic, then add the peppers and season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Leave the vegetables to cook for about 20-25 minutes, and when they are almost ready, remove the garlic and add the vinegar. Raise the heat and, once ready, serve them with fresh basil.
