Preparation of the recipe for lasagna with radicchio and sausage

  1. First, start by washing and cleaning the red radicchio and peeling the sausage.
  2. Remove the final torso from the radicchio and cut it into small pieces. Also clean an onion and chop finely.
  3. Take a pan and pour in extra virgin olive oil (about four tablespoons ). When it is hot, add the radicchio and onion and simmer for a little less than 10 minutes.
  4. Shell the sausage inside a bowl with the help of a fork.
  5. As soon as the radicchio is ready, arrange with salt and black pepper and add the sausage. Mix everything in order to bring out all the flavors and mix them together.
  6. Add the béchamel and continue stirring for a few minutes. Turn off the heat and move on to assembling the lasagna.
  7. Prepare a baking dish and spread a layer of radicchio cream, béchamel and sausage evenly at the base.
  8. Distribute the lasagna sheets well and cover with other seasoning until the three layers are finished (the last one, the upper one, must be with the cream);
  9. Put the dish in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes . As soon as they are cooked and golden, you can serve the red radicchio and sausage lelasagne while still hot.


You can keep the lasagna with radicchio and sausage in the freezer for about a month. When you want to eat it, leave it out of the freezer for 20 minutes and thaw it in the microwave. Afterwards, reheat it in the oven or always in the microwave. If not frozen, refrigerate for 1 day in an airtight container.
