Sausage is an easy-to-prepare second course, as well as a great classic of Italian cuisine. Usually, they are accompanied by potatoes, whether fried or baked, but very often they are also good on their own. Simply place the pieces of meat in the air fryer basket, with just a little oil and, if you prefer, some roast seasoning, for extra flavor. Cook in a few minutes and you can serve succulent and tasty meat.

Preparing the recipe for sausages in an air fryer

  1. Wash the meat and arrange it on a plate. Prick the outside of the sausages with a fork.
  2. Season it with sufficient salt or, if you prefer, with a little roast flavouring.
  3. At this point, you can arrange the pieces of sausage on the bottom of the fryer basket; do not overlap them, but arrange them at a distance from each other .
  4. Drizzle a little oil (remember to add very little) over the meat.
  5. Close the basket and cook at 200°C for about 7 minutes .
  6. During cooking, shake the basket from time to time to turn the sausage pieces.
  7. At the end of cooking, the meat must be soft and succulent.


Sausages in an air fryer are a classic and very popular second course on Italian tables, because it is a genuine and tasty proposal – to be accompanied above all with potatoes! If they are left over, you can keep them for 1 day and reheat them if necessary.
