Preparing the recipe for onion omelette in the air fryer

  1. First, peel the onion. Then, slice it finely , using a knife.
  2. Place it in a baking tray (the size that fits the size of the air fryer basket) and cover it with two tablespoons of olive oil.
  3. Season with a little salt and mix.
  4. Cook in the air fryer at 200°C for 10 minutes , but remember to mix them halfway through cooking.
  5. While the onions are cooking, shell the eggs in a bowl and beat them using a fork.
  6. Once done, add the grated cheese, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  7. Also add the parsley and mix to mix the ingredients well.
  8. When the onions are finished cooking, pour the egg mixture over them.
  9. Cover all the onions perfectly, then return the pan to the basket.
  10. Cook the omelette at 200°C for 10-12 minutes . Once finished, let it cool and serve.


The light onion omelette, cooked in the air fryer, is an easy recipe to make and serve on any occasion. If you have leftovers, you can store it in the fridge for 1-2 days , closed in an airtight container.
