It takes less than half an hour to prepare delicious pan-fried pizzas that do not require leavening and can be customized to taste.

A respectable buffet must include pizzas. It doesn't matter whether they are made of puff pastry or obtained from a larger pizza pan. But what if we told you that you can prepare pan-fried pizzas without leavening in a very short time ?

The dough is very simple based on flour, water and milk. The main difference with the more classic recipes lies in the use of instant yeast for savory cakes. In this way you will eliminate the leavening times by preparing excellent pizzas cooked in a pan in less than half an hour. As for the condiments, as always you are spoiled for choice: from the classic margherita , perhaps flavored with basil or oregano, to a tastier variant with anchovies, olives, mushrooms or ham .

How to prepare the pan pizza recipe

  1. Place the flour and yeast in a bowl and give a quick mix. Then pour in the water, milk (or other water), oil and a pinch of salt and quickly knead everything to obtain a dough.
  2. Roll it out with a rolling pin on a lightly floured pastry board until it is half a centimeter thick.
  3. Using a 7-8 cm diameter pastry cutter , cut out as many small pizzas as possible, even resetting the cutouts.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and arrange the bases of the pizzas. Season them with a teaspoon of tomato sauce, salt and oregano and cook with the lid on for 5 minutes over medium-low heat.
  5. Then distribute the diced mozzarella, put the lid on and continue cooking for another 3 minutes, just long enough for the mozzarella to melt.
  6. Serve the pizzas at room temperature or hot.

The pan-fried pizzas will keep for a couple of days closed in an airtight container . You can reheat them for a few minutes in the air fryer before enjoying them.
