How to prepare the pasta recipe with Brussels sprouts

  1. First clean the sprouts by removing the base and the outermost layer of leaves. Then divide them in half and keep them aside.
  2. Cook the pasta in abundant salted water for the time indicated on the package. Along with the pasta, add the sprouts. The cooking times are in fact the same.
  3. Separately, in a pan, heat the oil with the garlic clove.
  4. Once the pasta is ready, drain it and sauté it in a pan adding a generous grind of pepper and the grated lemon zest. Serve immediately while still hot.

If you have any leftover sprouts, we advise you to try them simply cooked in a pan : they are delicate and very tasty.

If you are not interested in getting a vegan first course, we recommend an easy but very tasty recipe, pasta with Brussels sprouts and bacon . To prepare it, sauté 100 g of diced bacon in a pan without adding oil or garlic and then, once the pasta is ready, toss everything together: you will feel what a delight. Pasta with Brussels sprouts and anchovies is also excellent. To prepare it, follow the basic recipe and melt four anchovy fillets in oil with oil and garlic. Then skip everything when ready and enjoy.


Pasta with sprouts can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days . You can heat it either in a pan or in the microwave before consuming it.
