Preparing the recipe for the savory pie with potatoes and sausage

  1. Start by boiling the potatoes . Fill a pan with water and salt it.
  2. Dip the potatoes inside, after peeling them, and cook to soften them.
  3. In the meantime, peel the sausage and crumble it , dropping it into a pan.
  4. Brown it with a little oil , half an onion cut into thin wedges and blend with half a glass of white wine .
  5. Take the mozzarella and cut it into cubes, trying to let it drain as much as possible. Alternatively you can also use fresh scamorza.
  6. For the puff pastry with potatoes and sausage, you can use the ready-made one available in supermarkets. Alternatively, you can make a quick puff pastry or brisé at home with our recipe.
  7. Once done, roll it out onto a circular cake mold with a diameter of 22-24 cm. Leave the excess edges of the pastry outside the edge of the cake pan.
  8. In a bowl, place the crumbled boiled potatoes, the cooked sausage and the mozzarella (or scamorza) and mix.
  9. Pour this filling onto the puff pastry and season with grated parmesan , then fold the excess edge of the pastry inwards.
  10. Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes .
