Preparation of sugar-free strawberry jam

  1. First, start by washing the strawberries well, then dry them, remove the stems and cut them into chunks, then also wash the apple, remove the stem and seeds then cut it into chunks without removing the peel.
  2. Place the strawberries and apple in a large saucepan, add the lemon juice and water.
  3. Mix well and put on the heat. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. As soon as the fruit is nice and soft, remove the pan from the heat and blend everything with an immersion blender until you obtain a creamy mixture.
  4. Place back on the stove and cook over low heat. Pour a teaspoon of jam onto a saucer, leave to cool and tilt. If the jam doesn't drip you can turn off the heat .
  5. Pour the jam into carefully sterilized glass jars, close with the lids and turn them upside down. Let the jars cool completely before placing them in the pantry.

Alternatively, you can prepare the classic strawberry jam .

storage

The jam can be kept for a few months in the pantry , if the place is dark, cool and dry. Once opened (we recommend after a few weeks of making it) put it in a jar in the refrigerator and finish it within a week at most.
