The recipe for camille as soft and good as the originals is really fast. Here’s how to make these simple desserts.

Snacks for children are practical to keep in the pantry, always ready to get out of the way. But what would you say to preparing the classic homemade carrot cakes, healthier and tastier than those in the supermarket, quick and easy ? If you think that all this is not possible, you will have to change your mind. Preparing camille with carrots is very simple and thanks to our perfect recipe you will no longer have to buy them. Almond flour and oranges give these cakes their characteristic flavor, two ingredients that blend perfectly with the natural sweetness of carrots, returning sweet camille like the originals.


Preparation for the recipe of the camille

  1. First , cream the carrots (peeled) in a blender together with orange juice and oil.
  2. Separately, in a bowl, whip the eggs with the sugar until they are light and fluffy. You can use electric whips to make the operation easier.
  3. Stir in the almond flour, orange zest and a pinch of salt then pour in the pureed carrots.
  4. Finally, add the sifted flour with the baking powder, mixing well.
  5. Pour the Camille mixture into the hemisphere molds but if you don’t have it you can safely use those for muffins lined with the appropriate paper cups. Fill them 2/3 full because during cooking they will tend to swell and bake at 180 ° C for 20 minutes , doing the toothpick test before taking out.
  6. Serve the camille once it has cooled completely.
