Preparing the chickpea soup recipe with the Thermomix

  1. First, peel the onion, celery and carrot. Place these ingredients in the bowl of the food processor and chop for 20 seconds on speed 7.
  2. Then add the olive oil and fry for 5 minutes at 100°C and anticlockwise on Soft speed .
  3. Add the water and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
  4. After this time, also put the pre-cooked chickpeas in the Thermomix.
  5. Season with chopped rosemary and cook for another 15 minutes , in the same way.
  6. Towards the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Once finished, distribute on plates and serve.

You can prepare chickpea soup with the Thermomix TM31 or TM5. Preparation takes only a short time and you can immediately serve a hot dish to warm up your guests on long winter days .


The best advice is to consume this dish immediately , when it is still hot, alternatively you can keep it in the fridge for 2-3 days in a special container with a lid.
