How to prepare the recipe for pasta with asparagus and sausage

  1. First wash the asparagus under running water. Remove the woody part of the stem simply by flexing the latter then reduce it into washers leaving the tip intact.
  2. Remove the casing from the sausage and crumble it in a pan, without adding other fats.
  3. Add the asparagus, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in abundant salted water for the time indicated on the package. In our opinion, short formats are better suited with this dressing.
  5. Once the pasta is ready, drain and toss in the pan with the sauce.
  6. Serve piping hot, completing as desired with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

For lovers of strong flavors, we also recommend trying the asparagus and pancetta pasta , simple but tasty.

Pasta with asparagus, sausage and cherry tomatoes

The first variant of this first course is perfect for having an extra touch of freshness. You can add the 250 g of cherry tomatoes cut in half directly into the pan with asparagus and sausage, however our advice is to cook them separately in another pan with a drizzle of oil, a clove of garlic and a pinch of salt. Once the pasta is ready, drain it and toss it in the pan first with the sausage and asparagus, adding the cherry tomatoes only at the end. This little extra effort will guarantee you a truly amazing first course.

Pasta with asparagus and sausage and cream

Don’t trust anyone who tells you that cream is out of fashion. Try adding 200 ml of cooking cream (that of the briquette) to your asparagus and sausage sauce once cooked and you will feel what a delight! The creaminess that the dish acquires is something sensational.

storage

You can keep the leftover pasta in the refrigerator for a couple of days and consume it after heating it in a pan or microwave.
